12.24.04

It seems we made it home in time for Christmas. Thankfully we didn't have to do anything absurd this time around, like driving home from LA non-stop... Anyway, we had a great time on the last tour, and we are really excited to get back on the road with the Scream Hello guys. The dates have all come together nicely, and I've updated the shows page with all the info. Make sure you come out!

12.18.04

Just a quick update for y'all (We're trying to fit in on our southern tour)... There was a little bit of confusion and miscommunication so we will be playing the kids skateshop in tampa, today, and not making our way up to Georgia.. I'm sorry for any confusion, but I promise we'll be back soon.

12.13.04

So we're back on the road again. This time we are retracing our footsteps down south and revisiting some familiar places and faces. We just added a few more shows to the website, so be sure to check that out and come out and say hello if we are in your area. We are also very excited about our January tour with Scream Hello, which seems to be shaping up very nicely. We'll see you soon!

First off, thanks so much to Dubin and Christian over at Krock's Domestic Disturbance for giving us some radio play. Last Sunday at 10 they played a track off of the new and still untitled record, which should be out in early February. Anyway, I have the sneaking suspicion that a lot of you missed it, which is why it would be amazing if you could all drop Krock a line and request that they play it again. Obviously it's a long shot, but if we could get the song a couple more spins we'd be extremely pyched, and that way you guys that missed it could give it a listen. You can make the request here, just fill out the form and type in The Cusp of Carabella for the song name. Even if you are out of the listening range, we'll be completely honest, a couple emails would be a huge. Thanks for the help!

11.13.04

Okay, so lots of news... First off, any of you in the NY/NJ area that are interested in checking out something from the new record should listen to 92.3 K-Rock Sunday night at 10PM. Domestic Disturbance will be playing a track called The Cusp of Carabella... So if you're around check it out, and be sure to tell them to play it again! You can drop them a post on their message board, email them, or give em a call.

So in other news, I guess you could say tonite is technically the last night of tour. We are back in New Jersey, and playing our welcome home show of sorts. All in all this tour was phenomenal... Everywhere we went we saw familar faces and kids singing along, which honestly made us feel so amazing. Thank you to everyone who came out and supported us, to everyone who gave us a place to stay, everyone who cooked for us and fed us, and last but not least everyone who stayed up late passing around the bottle with us.

Though this tour has come to an end, fret not - we're coming back. In early December we'll be heading back down south to visit some of you guys again, and then in January we are going out with Scream Hello from New Brunswick, to tackle the midwest. Chicago, we're finally coming back!

There are still some dates we can use some help with, so check out the shows page and drop me an email if you can do anything at all. We'll see you soon!

Alright.. So we are back at it... we're on the road again. As you probably know, we've been pent up in the studio for the past month or so working on a new full length, which I'm happy to say is finished and sounds incredible (thanks to our boy Mike Poorman) . With that experience under our belts, we're trying to get out there and play some new songs, make some new friends and visit our old ones. With that said, I'm updating the shows page as we speak, so be sure to check it out and see when we are going to be in your area. As always it would would be completely incredible to see some familiar faces, so please come out and say hello. Thats about all I've got in me for right now, but be sure to check back frequently and hit up our tour journal to hear of our latest exploits.

So it seems we've dropped off the face of the earth, doesn't it? To be honest, that is partially true, but with good reason. For the past few months we've been holed up in rehearsal spaces and basements alike writing a new record. Come the 20th of this month we'll be down in DC at the one and only Salad Days hard at work recording the record. After a week long stint there we'll make our way up to Boston to hit up Camp Street and God City studios, and then it's back to DC again for mixing. Needless to say it's going to be one hell of an exciting month, and by the end of it we should have a new record to share with you guys.

After the recording process is done with, look for us on tour. We've all quit are jobs and have no intentions of going back, so we're gonna be on the road constantly.

That's about it for now. Check back frequently as we're going to be writing about our experiences in the studio in the OS Journal!

As always it has been way too long since we've posted an update. After a good long month on the road with the Paulson guys, we are back in Jersey doing a whole lot of nothing.. Well actually, that's not really true. We are indeed taking a little bit of time off, with the excepetion of a couple shows here and there, but with good reason. As of right now we have tentative plans to record a new full length during the month of September, so we are buckling down and trying to finish up the writing process. We'll keep you all posted as things progress. Chances are we'll even end up keeping you updated by way of the tour journal during the entire process. So be sure to check that out, I'm sure it will be entertaining.

Hey! So I'm in the middle of Louisiana right now and I just got word that the Angry Penguin show is back on for the 11th of June in Mohegan Lake NY at La Cuna Cafe.. Unfortunately the Maine show fell through, but with an Angry Penguin show taking it's place, we are all really stoked. We are all looking forward to seeing you kids that make the Angry Penguin shows some of our favorite.

05.11.04

Just a quick update for you guys. As we near our departure for our month long tour with the Paulson guys, we are getting all the little things in order. There are still a few holes in the dates which will hopefully be filled soon, so be sure to check back. I just finished putting up a tour journal, so if you want to track our stupidity, insanity and overall absurdity that is the place to be. That's all for now.. See you soon!
