Thanks

I just wanted to extend a quick thanks to everyone that came out and supported us at the Bamboozle this past weekend. Being such a large event, it really was appreciated that people cared enough to sift through all the confusion and walk down to the Stone Pony to see us. Thank you so much for that. Also, thanks to Paulson for playing so well, and putting us all in a much better mood. Although there were some good and bad points, the half hour when we were actually playing was the best time by far, and I couldn't think of any better way for it to have turned out.

Still, I feel obligated to divulge just a few interesting highlights. First, hanging with Fred Feldstein, Frank, and our Triple Crown labelmates was a blast. I'd also like to thank Coleen and Carly for letting me sleep on their floor and use their shower. Through them, I also scored a free breakfast, and that's never a bad thing. Oh, and thanks to Finch for the Mountain dew; it was delicious.

book trade!o

i'm sorry if this is getting annoying, i know i've posted it everywhere.

so i've (pj that is) decided that in order for me to read more interesting books on tour, and to meet more fun people, i'm going to start a book trade. so here is how it's going to work:

if you've read a book that really excited, inspired or educated you in some awesome and profound way, i would love to expereince it myself, as i'm sure the rest of the OS boys would. so, i'm going to bring a book or two on tour that did so for me, and you will bring a copy of your book to me and we'll trade. then, i or someone in the band will read said book, and in the next town we're in, we'll trade with someone else. so, basically we'll all be helping each other out and inspiring each other to check out cool books, and we'll all get a chance to read two or more great things for the price of one. doesn't that rule? sweet. i'm thinking some other things we can do are put our names in the book with where we're from, and maybe a suggestion of one or two other books or records that we're down with. maybe a link to your band or personal site? i don't know, but my thought is if we can get a few bands or travelling kids down with this jawn, we can spread knowledge and love all over the country. so, if you're down, come to one of our shows with a book, and even if i haven't gotten around to reading one that i got from someone, i'll just write down the title and then trade off to the next person. sweet. if you guys are actually interested in this, please tell your friends to try it out with other bands, and i'll even post my reviews of all of the books involved so everyone can check them out, but i'll only do that if people want, because i'm not going to bother you all if you'd prefer i didn't write about them. sweet. let me know if this is cool or not.
