when in doubt...

Hey everyone. It's been a while, and that can be said about a few things. For all you Jersey folk, we'll be playing this coming Monday at Hamilton St. in Boundbrook, NJ. I believe this is our first Jersey show in a while that hasn't been in a basement, so if you usually avoid basements for some reason (mold allergies, very tall, etc.) then this is your chance to come see us play above grade. All kidding aside, this is a bigger place and we would really appreciate it if you could come out.

Actually, Monday will be our third show with our soon-to-be tourmates, In Pieces. It's been a while, too long in fact, since we've been on the road, and I know we are all very excited about touring again. Personally, I'm looking forward to getting back to some of our favorite spots. South Carolina always treats us well, and I'm also psyched on Florida and Maine. A bit extreme perhaps, but it is so.

In the meantime, we're taking care of some last minute things before we hit the road. On Monday, PJ, Maguire, and I got together to give the van a much needed cleaning, and take care of a few other preparatory activities. The unfortunate thing is, when we don't tour for a while, van cleanliness seems to fall by the wayside. These past few months have been no exception. Offending items removed from the van included but were not limited to the following: books, vhs tapes, audio cassette tapes, a pull up bar, pajama pants of unknown origin, underwear, lubricant, rancid salsa, bottled urine, and finally, a subway salad bowl. In any case, the van is now much cleaner. Other than that, Greg gets back from Spain on Thursday, and then we're going to squeeze in a practice somewhere before we go.
